Levothyroxine RX - mannitol CONFIRMED by pharmacist

Pharm tech who waited on me at the register has SIBO. We chatted about it and I've got the name of her gastro practice. She feels she's in good hands there. I gave her the FD Gard as recommendation in return. She's lost 15 pounds in 2 months.

She paid attention to what I said about mannitol and when the Pharmacist confirmed I guess it set off alarms for her because she said she's going to go through her meds too...she reacts to sugar alcohols like I do. Now, at the very least, she knows it's in her own Levo RX.

Small world. Small very sad world when people are suffering so much and it hurts to do the very thing you need to do every day to stay alive--eat.
Aww :( I wonder if there is a connection with thyroid. Bless. Hopefully that will encourage your provider to give you the liquid instead.

Quote I heard by a broadcaster for the Sydney Marathon that brought me to tears. Keeping it for the low moments. This is a long slog back. I definitely have lows.

I can NOT believe what I just did. I have sunken to a new nutritional low. Put in a little grocery order. These are allowed on low FODMAP or as I call it "Foods that do not fod up your gut". :?

1. Fresh pineapple chunks

2. Soft corn tortillas

3. Fritos

4. Ruffles Original

and...for the first time in oh maybe 12 years...

5. WHITE BREAD. Walmart brand. The only brand that has no fodmaps.

I cannot believe I am going to eat white bread since I switched up my diet 12 years ago to include whole grains and such. And now I am going backwards. What IS my life about?

It's all about the gut, bout the gut, bout the gut, no fodmaps.*

*50, that's right, 50 Monopoly bucks to anyone who can name that tune.

My reason for asking is because if you want to drop magnesium supplement, you can use bath salts instead and your body absorbs the magnesium through your skin instead of in your digestive system.

Wowsers. That's a big change. Do you know, wholegrain bread contains a lot of nickel and in a nickel free diet it's better to have white bread and white pasta.
