Hey why me,

Perhaps (maybe) one should consider extending the credit to the very Mom and/or Dad for being "good parents" (No matter if they happen to be LDS, Muslim, Atheist, Democrat, or sit on the board of The American Proctology Center)

Just my take :)

Peace,
Ceeboo

I think that Norway also needs some old fashioned LDS family values also, and if more norwegians would live the word of wisdom, Norway would be a healthier place to live but a nice place to raise children.

How the hell do you think Norway is? Very low drug and alcohol use. Low smoking rates. Much lower than the US or even Utah. Our children test very high in school, among the best in the world. The US is nearly the lowest among industrial countries. Poverty, unemployment, health, safety, retirement, and family unity are all higher than the US. We are doing something right that the US is doing very wrong, including Utah. Just what about the WoW are the Norwegians doing wrong? Coffee? Really?

Spurven Ten Sing wrote:Once again, why me doesn't know anything about the region. Scandinavian countries are limited to those countries who are located on (or once were) on the SCANDINAVIAN peninsula. Norway, Sweden, Denmark. That's it. Finnland and Iceland are NOT Scandinavian. They are, however part of the larger Norden, or North, and are thus Nordic, but not Scandinavian. Finns (excluding Swedo-Finns) do not even include themselves as part of us.

I don't have any oil money.

If you say so.

The finns are proud of their independance these days and of course, finland was ruled by sweden for many years. But there is still an academic dabate about the situation of finland. I say that it is a part of scandinavia, especially since the poor finns must learn swedish because of their small swedish speaking minority.

Just like Canadians are continental Europeans because they must learn French.

See the link. Your country is no different from finland when it comes to violent drunks. This is not apples and oranges but a world wide problem. The LDS got it right with the word of wisdom. If more of your countrmen lived the principle there would be less violence in society and especially in the home.

Finland was under Swedish control for hundreds of years. And this creates quite a difference when a former oppressed country must learn the language of their former oppressor. Now there is a movement in finland to do away with the compulsory learning of swedish and the The Finns Party gained much support because of their stance on compulsory swedish. They want to eliminate it.

No comparison with the learning of french in canada.

Jesus Christ, you are a douche. We still have lower levels of alcohol use than the States.

And absolutely no credit is given to non-Mormon parents when they do well, because well only Mormon parents do well.

I think that the antimormon catholic apologetic site is missing you. Maybe you can read some of the antimormon literature your favorite site prints and use it here. Give my regards to your friends there, you know the old crowd. I also see many Mormons are being banned there again. Too bad but understandable. We can't have too many Mormons defending their faith from the antimormon catholics.
