I believe this is only too true, Buff.

But you should see the expression on many Mormon faces when I tell them I think it is boring.

It's like Amanda Knox getting her conviction overturned . . .

Yeah, I can only imagine that! Sometimes if you make some really close friendships in the church, people will admit to you that they have a hard time staying awake in conference (which means they think it's boring). But Mormons have a hard time letting their guard down.

Everyone knows you're Will, Will. Even DCP. I'm not sure why you bother to keep pretending you're not Will. Up until recently you only existed as an alt to back yourself up when you were losing debates. Now you're used because the name Will Schryver is now mud. But you're fooling exactly no one.

lol!

At least one person is getting very fooled.

Perhaps I could regale the good Captain Nomad with tales of the two articles I have had published in the Journal of Book of Mormon Studies?

Or maybe the paper BYU-Studies saw fit to print?

That should do the trick, all right.

Come cheer up, me lads,
'Tis to glory we steer.

All the Best!

Congratulations! I mean that sincerely. I didn't know.

I would like to read these articles. Seriously. Do you have links? You can PM them to me if you'd like.

No one here is dumb enough to believe that you have a fan so devoted as to spend 99% of his posting time just to defend you. Oh, and who sometimes posts exactly the same stuff that Will S. posts under his own name at MAD. Sorry Willy.

Some dumb old lady did crash into my classic old car in the parking lot at Kroger's. But I was able to get it fixed without too much problem.

Other than that I'm plenty happy.

Have I spent 99% of my posting time defending Will? Really? Have you read my posts on the old FAIR/MADB board? Let's see, I started posting there over 5 years ago, and never once mentioned Will's name until last year ... but no matter. I'm sure you're right. You're always right about everything. You're almost omniscent from what I've seen.

What was it DCP calls you? Oh yeah. Chip. That's pretty good.

That DCP sure is a smart guy. And he agrees with me about who you are, Will.

No he doesn't. DCP knows who I am. I've sent him emails from my in real life account.

But don't let facts get in the way of your delusions. You wouldn't entertain me near as much if you started being a reasonable person.

And no offense intended against Will, but his writing style is a whole lot more wordy and (what's the word ... oh yeah) florid than mine. Sometimes I think he goes overboard with that stuff, to tell you the truth. Maybe he does it on purpose. I'm not sure. Don't get me wrong. I like his writing. I think it's good. Just sometimes he uses too many big words and long sentences for my tastes. I've never seen why people think I'm his sockpuppet, except that I've defended him when you folks attack him for no reason.

DarkHelmet wrote:Instead of announcing new GAs, bring a bunch of GA candidates up front at the beginning. Between talks, have elimination rounds, like American Idol, where you bring 2 candidates to the front and announce which one is eliminated and which one is a new GA. It would add some excitement and suspense. "Elder Jones, after speaking to the Lord, you are (pause for suspense) NOT called as a member of the seventy. Congratulations Elder Thomas. Go take a seat with the rest of the 70s."

I just had to stop at this post and say...

ROTFLMAO

That's awesome.
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.
