It's outrageous that the decent, law-abiding migrants who are trying to do the right thing are far more likely to be detained and deported than those who are actual criminals, simply because they are easier to find and trap. I wonder if Trump actually prefers to deport them, because they are the most likely to eventually attain U.S. Citizenship and become voters who will most likely vote against MAGA conservatives and wannabe dictators.
No precept or claim is more suspect or more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.
Speaking of the deportations. There sure are a lot of apprehensions and raids happening at workplaces, and at scheduled immigration check-ins. I thought these were freeloaders and criminals?

After four years of the Biden administration saying that they had no authority to enforce the border without an act of Congress, it turns out, the president actually can enforce the border if he wants to do so. Why would the Trump administration be enforcing the border if all they wanted was to use illegal immigration as a campaign issue?
The truth is that none of you give a rip about working class Americans nor protecting their jobs. Good luck winning elections with that kind of platform.
I'm sure you can point to a lot of examples of charges and fines being brought against corporations and employers, righ? Y'know... "holding [them] accountable." That'd be kind of weird to claim this is about holding employers accountable without any actual accountability.
That's good though that you don't support Trump because of his use of illegal immigrants, and eroding public safety and incentivizing non enforcement of the border. I think our current Secretary of State did a fairly good job of documenting it.

That’s the thing. We have a few folks on the board who will tell you that border crossers should just ‘follow the law, get in line,’ etc., and we have examples of people doing just that … and getting deported right at the end stage of the citizenship process.
We are demonstrating that our laws and our process are meaningless and disposable, if discarding them will appease the worst urges and/or racist hangups of the MAGA base. That’s what this Administration promotes.
We all know the Idiot immigration policy is based on immoral judgment and massive personal insecurity on the part of his supporters. There's no point sugarcoating it; people voted for Idiot because he's a blatant, unapologetic racist, and they are too.
So yeah, that's a popular brand of "Christianity" these days. Lots of folks think Christ wanted people to be assholes. The stuff that's attributed to Christ in the Bible was just joking, apparently.
I don't know how to think of Idiot voters as anything other than completely braindead assholes. No argument in their favor seems to move me.

Could you give more information on this? I'm going to start doing some immigration work as it seems the net is being cast too broadly and I'd like to look at these anecdotes more closely. I just had a client go to his final citizenship hearing and passed the test. Now they want additional proof of life, etc. Another client was telling me his Canadian friend was attempting to cross the border and immigration asked if Canada should be the 51st state. She said no and they wouldn't let her pass. They also denied his GF entry from Canada when the immigration center in CA approved her entry.
Trump is a bull in a China shop in this area and his head of homeland security seems more interested in modeling police gear than make the immigration mess more organized and reasonable.
The stance seems to be stay the ____ out and we're going to use our discretion to make it a nightmare across the board.

That is so sad and heartlessly cruel and does absolutely nothing whatsoever to making our country safer and greater! It only makes us look worse in the eyes of most of the rest of the world!
