You could add "No Man Knows My History" by Fawn Brodie to the first list, and "Tinkling Cymbals and Sounding Brass" by Nibley to the second.

I really need to read those anti-anti - has any one that is critical of the Church's tactics read them. What can one expect from them?

I don't think any of them are of a particularly high standard. Schaffs is almost an embarrassment (in my opinion).

I think Evenson's The Gainsayers is by far the best, and most original. But see the link above for the odd twist in this story.
