Nice, BC and Moksha.
I prefer this version of Come Thy Fount of Every Blessing by Sufjan Stevens:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1bSlS6O ... re=related
It reminds me of when I was a little girl and my daddy and his overall-wearing uncles and cousins would sit in our living room, playing banjos and guitars and harmonicas and the piano--basically whatever instruments they could get their hands on--and sing late into the night, after I was sent to bed.
The house smelled like chewing tobacco and old men. I loved those nights.
Sufjan's song is a little more refined than what I'd lie awake listening to from my pink quilted bed, but still, the feeling is the same.

Try a different tradition, perhaps with different aims:

Notice the effect of the chant change at 3:50. Good isn't it?
Of course you should be reading the words of Psalm 50 in the Book of Common Prayer version while you watch ...

Zadok:
I did not have a faith crisis. I discovered that the Church was having a truth crisis.
Maksutov:
That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.

I have enjoyed the St. Olaf's choir singing on the Christmas PBS specials.

Yes, that was lovely, Chap. As required to gain full appreciation of the piece, I did read Psalm 50 while listening. I had my own private High Church service right here at home!
Thanks.
Now, in return, Rutter's The Lord Bless You and Keep You, sung by the St. Paul Cathedral Choir:

Yup. Thanks for trading!
Strictly it should be St Paul's (as in St Paul's Cathedral): we are not in MN for this one ...
