Is the Constitution Hanging by a Thread?

Today while out driving, I happened to catch the Glen Beck radio show... a first for me.

Wow! Seriously... WOW!

He stated on his program that he recently talked to Orin Hatch and Orin said that the Constitution was "hanging by a thread." Beck agreed and expounded on this.

Now, I recall at my days at BYU that virtually ever law student I dated believed the Constitution would hang by a thread and that they would be part of the Priesthood who would have to step in to save the Country.

I thought this was a prophesy/revelation and actually believed it. (As much as I heard this I am not sure if there was any specific GA teaching on this... anyone know)?

However I haven't heard this teaching for some time.... until this morning.

Is this prophecy now being taught again? Or is this the belief of some members? It is obviously the belief of Hatch and Beck but is the idea permeating mainstream Mormonism?

Any thoughts?
