Adieu
Hey, well at least there will be no question as to why I'm using such a word. It's perfectly acceptable for me. Poor Joseph...
I have a feeling that this will be the last time I'm online for many months, and since I have nothing of value to contribute to the Mormon discussion as it currently stands, I just want to say bye-bye.
I know I'm blessed to walk away from my negative experiences with the church feeling the way I do. I just don't have the anger in me anymore. Too many other situations occupying my mind. Life's too short.
I hope that one day, everyone who is on this board who has left the church or who will, will be able to not look back in anger. I'm not saying anger is bad, it's kind of cool to be able to haul off and bitch slap people sometimes (and they leave you alone once you do it, too), but there's to much good out there to waste your time being upset indefinitely. I'm tired of being angry, there are just some situations in which I'm going to deal with psycho people, I can't change them, so I accept that and adjust my proximity to them accordingly. Plus, I want to concentrate on being a good mama. I don't multi-task well anymore, so having my mind in too many places isn't a good idea. I don't have much mind left...
Shades/Keene, thanks for the site, and the respite from the debacle formerly known as FAIR. Though I haven't always liked the turbulence that the minimal moderation here has allowed, I do respect your reasoning.
All of you be blessed.

You're certainly welcome.

Are you aware that we're currently undergoing an experiment wherein all personal attacks (at least in the Celestial, Terrestrial, and Off-Topic Forums) are being deleted? If not, then you ought to stick around a little longer and take a look around.
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

If you keep the experiment going, Sami will have a much better place to return to when motherhood duties allow it.

Along with any fascists who loathe free speech and dissent, opportunist hostage takers, and crashing bores. Heck, with those traits you have a darn good chance at being selected for moderator duty. We've seen it happen before.
Bye Sammi - take care and be sure to check in on this self-imploding "experiment" from time to time and say hello.

Whatever appears to be against the Book of Mormon is going to be overturned at some time in the future. So we can be pretty open minded.-charity 3/7/07

I avoid church religiously.
This isn't one of my sermons, I expect you to listen.

But who among us does not take some pride when our puppy first starts pooping on the newspaper, then voluntarily graduates to the Telestial lawn of our neighbor?
