Since we haven't had a song in a while ...
To the tune of the Kinks "Well-Respected Man"
Right-Wing Nut Job
'Cause he blathers on the message boards
Though he has little to say
And he feels so persecuted
By the antis every day.
And he's, oh, so good,
And he's erudite,
And he's oh so angry
As he's spoiling for a fight.
He's a persecuted right-wing nut job,
Spewing his nonsense with hyperbole.
And he's got his new thesaurus
'Cause he likes to use big words.
But his overblown vocabulary
Just makes him sound absurd.
And his ego has no limits,
Because he knows he's on God's side.
'Cause he's oh, so smart,
WorldNetDaily tells him so.
And everyone who disagrees
Is a Marxist, as you know.
He shows his inferiority complex
As he whines about "poor little me."
And he pushes his religion.
Dogmatism is such fun.
And he ridicules licked cupcakes,
though he wishes he had one.
And he's published in Meridian,
As if we should be impressed.
'Cause he's oh, so good,
And he's oh, so fine,
And he's oh, so righteous
In his heart and in his mind.
He's a paragon of Mormon virtue
Condemning the rest of us for eternity.
And he plays at apologetics.
And he goes to the FAIR conference.
And he buys the missing scroll theory
And other such nonsense.
And he worships at the altar
Of the Maxwell Institute.
But he's oh, so ignored.
He can't get the time of day.
He'll never be a pundit,
But he just won't go away.
He's a second-rate intellect
Latching onto the big boys unsuccessfully.

Good stuff.
I have a pretty good idea who it's about, but there are a few folks it could apply to, I think.

God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.

Well written runtu, it helps to listen to the original song on youtube first.

The funny thing about that is when I link directly to WND, the pinko commies get ants in their pants, but when I link to the article referenced by WND which says the same thing, there is nary a peep.

Are you suggesting that the song was about you? Really?

I'm guessing that your song was about a generic, one-size-fits-all apologist, and not any single person in particular, right?
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

Not at all. I am the apologist whom you haven't been able to crack, the one who is the most dangerous to your cause. But I am conservative and I do visit the WND site.

What do you mean by "crack"? And what cause? And why are you dangerous to it?
Genuinely puzzled.

I think the "thesaurus" verse pretty much gave it away.
Who here do we know who likes to use obscure and archaic vocabulary words as a matter of routine, and yet belies their lack of education with high-school level errors in their grammar and rhetoric?
