Mormonism Vs Narcissism
Joseph Smith would agree with me that if it is not about Zion, it is not good Mormonism. That was the entire original intent. Anything else can not defend true Mormonism. We all know that the LDS Church failed from the beginning to accomplish the slightest degrees of Zion. And has well lost the key of knowledge in how to ever accomplish the slightest degree still. Lacking all root and branch the LDS studied and puoposeful mind has rested upon the history of the LDS cultural and doctrinal contrivances and worse become wholly attached to its academics. By this definition, therefore, only one has voiced the consistent cause of Zion for the last forty years. That would be me.
At eighteen I returned home filled with the gift and power of Zion and unleashed the abundance of that power upon a home congregation that consisted of some doctors of religion and LDS institute instructors and church professional adminstrators. They reacted precisely as all Mormon apologist react still, being entirely dismissive.
Lately the Lord raised up an Ensign before the eyes of all the people to read together following my lead in its interpretation. Who can even begin to field such an artful and spiritually advanced artifact as an entire mountain side fitted from the foundation of the world to assist as my seer stone, but yet an open page for all the world to consider its profound message for out time? Nobody can. Because there is no Zion. No one has the power and knowledge and skill to handle such edged tools. Will the people see themselves as undone and seek the gifts and powers of Zion? Will any even ask?
You cannot consider the works of God with all the sparks of his handiwork igniting all around you without panic and confusion of face. What did you think, God was not ever going to return to this world? Did you not think that his first intrusions would be Zion saints followed by Zion signs and wonders? All this is far easier to address than the greater heat of his entry with fire and vapors of smoke and a burning recompense when mens hearts shall fail them for fear and all things are in commotion.
Both the Mormon critic and the apologist want to focus upon themselves and not upon Zion. Zion is only a fable now, like an ideal no one ever expects to have to entertain seriously. The entire spine of pro and anti LDS thought is seperate and apart from the origins of Mormonism's intent which is and can only be Zion.
Being therefore the only master in Zion I claim ascendancy and a triumphal right to bear sway over all things Zion henceforth. All other claims are forfiet by overt acts of treason that not only let go of the reigns of Zion but turning therefrom to establish man's own righteousness that only comes of evil. Unless you bow the standard of the real Mormon Zion you are cast out as salt that has lost its savor, good for nothing but to be trodden under foot.
We will talk of Zion or nothing. Keep all you bile inside your own gut. Amuse yourself only at your own peril.
Staged prominence of pundits in published rubish is a heap of nothing. It is the stiring of a self-cooked pot.
I don't suppose any of the august staged sayers will have a word with me about the rudiments of Zion? I will not get them to enter the controversy of Zion. Will I? All I can do is prove myself true by their silence.
I must post my real name: James Q. Muir. It might get me booted from here too as it has before. There is more on the Apostolic Mountain staring down LDS headquarters in SLC than what I have yet said.

You've made some salient points here, Nightlion. I've bolded the parts that I found especially compelling. I'm wondering, Nightlion, if there exists a Daylion. If so, is he the fighter of the Nightlion? A champion of the sun? A master of karate and friendship for everyone?

Sounds a little like my Dad on Zion only he didn't claim any sort of ascendancy. In fact he sounds an awful lot like some of the older generation not used to the notion of Zion being wherever Stakes are established in the world.
An interesting parallel here would be the Jews, looking for a political leader at the time of Christ, and mistaking him for one.

He could have been a political leader, then a prophet, then the messiah, then God.

I haven't an entire mountain side for a seer stone, but I am quite sure I could see a message in my bowl of Trix cereal this morning. Still working on the translation, but so far it appears to be relating to something about a "silly rabbit"
