You think it's mean for me to point out how stupid it is to argue/discuss fantasy as if it were real? Your discussion with Gaz about other worlds that you say a superhuman/God creates, is not interesting, imaginative, creative, mature, thoughtful, it is boring and downright stupid.

If you feel that way, then don't read his threads, or participate on them. It's a simple solution, really. For someone with such a high intellect, I'm surprised you couldn't come up with that one on your own.

Well Liz I'm pointing out the stupidity of discussing things like what Gods do or don't do with serious earnest..out of compassion. Really what you two like to discuss quite seriously, is akin to claiming aliens exist on the other side of the moon but then arguing over what logically is their favorite sport, tennis or golf.

Before the internet I didn't go around defining myself as atheist. I spent virtually no time contemplating issues about religion, and when I look back I appreciate I sure saved myself a lot of time personally.

The only person on this whole board that our discussions along this line seems to bother is you. This is a Mormon Discussion Board. Anything dealing with Mormonism, we are free to discuss.

If you don't like the discussion, then don't read it, or participate in it. That's what we have the Ignore feature for. You should try using it. It would certainly make your life a whole lot easier. And I say that with all compassion.

Contrary to your opinion that people's nonsensical garbage should be respected, I think it is more compassionate to tell them the truth so that hopefully they'll appreciate how stupid they do sound and will stop.

I didn't say I didn't like the discussion, I said discussing nonsense as if it were factual or actual is stupid. And my opinion of people who do so is based upon that.

I was taught/learned that the endowment predicted a future event (spouse and yours), not some historical record. And yes, BH stated that Adam had a Celestial body in the Garden (contested). Yes you will have to leave your Celestial Kingdom and fall, and hence require a savior to bring even you back. Oh but I forget, Hinckley told the world he was not sure that we teach that.

Jersey Girl ... I made a very short but I believe powerful statment of Mormon doctrine in regards to your question ... any thoughts out there on this concept?
