Great song by the way. Of interest: " In 1972, ARC music sued Led Zeppelin, claiming that they had plagiarized Howlin' Wolf and a settlement was reached out of court. Chester Burnett (Howlin' Wolf's real name) is now given songwriting credit for "The Lemon Song"" http://www.turnmeondeadman.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=35&Itemid=45

Well yes and no ... I had no problem with the Adam God Thing .... but I believe the endownment, even as it exists today, is prettry clear. "You are to consider yourself to be adam and eve", it is you, as adam/eve that pray at the alter etc, it is you that goes to the veil etc. Are you suggesting you do not believe the endowment is about your future event? Even the earily portions dealing with the creation? (just doing that which we have seen done on other planets)
I never considered the early portions dealing with the creation as a telling of my future events, in the sense of having to sacrifice a savior, etc.
The beginning portion of the endowment is a retelling of the account of the creation as quoted from Genesis and Moses. I looked at it as more of a symbolic retelling of Heavenly Father's creation of this earth specifically.
The "how's" involved in future Gods and Goddesses creating new worlds has always been presented in a rather vague manner, in my opinion.
Interesting ... it was (and still is) clear to me that the doctrine was:
Wife and I would be exalted, have spirit children, then come to a garden of Eden in a world of our own making to provide mortal/physical bodies for all of our spirit children, following the same course/path/plan of all the eternities (i.e. eternities meaning all past, present and future creations (2.5 billion year time cycles), represented by the pleats in the robe)
