Sounds like the genre of theory which supposes that God placed dinosaur bones in the earth to test the faith of believers.

I wouldn't be so quick to arrogantly equate my doubt in a simple apologetic argument with doubt in the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Not everyone is so eager to join the sad and bitter stew I see bubbling around here.

And on that happy note, I'm off to grab a beer so I can be yet sadder and more bitter.

I also voted, "The box wasn't needed anymore".

LOL! I don't really blame Moroni for having a Porn stash, since he was just only able to become an Angel.

You forgot the ® on that, let me do it for you:

Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.®

Keep telling yourself that. Do what you gotta do to keep you ass in a Mormon pew.

Here is a simple yes no question for you.

IF the LDS Church is not TRUE, would you want to know.

Yes or No answer only.

hi Joseph!

Welcome to the board. Hope you enjoy your stay here, friend.
Lou Midgley 08/20/2020: "...meat wad," and "cockroach" are pithy descriptions of human beings used by gemli? They were not fashioned by Professor Peterson.

LM 11/23/2018: one can explain away the soul of human beings...as...a Meat Unit, to use Professor Peterson's clever derogatory description of gemli's ideology.

Cleverer humor than that, I've never seen!

Yes.

Actually, Dr. Robbers... May I add a 4th option? I believe that an appropriate Mopologetic response might be something along the lines of, "The person asking the question has a long history of making arguments riddled with logical fallacies, and we think he may have a criminal record. Also, he is a known anti-Mormon who has been crusading against the Gospel of Jesus Christ for over a decade."

So, that is what happened to the stone box.

I suppose some people find some sort of satisfaction in idiotic responses like this.

You're right. They work at the Maxwell Institute and they publish in the FARMS Review.

Great to see you around, by the way, Joseph.

Most of what I've read through the FARMS Review seems fairly scholarly and professional, and the men I've met who work at the Maxwell Institute seems fairly intelligent. I've never heard or read about any of them using such an argument.
