My Shady Acres Calling/Responsibilities

Post by _msnobody »

Being a nevermo posting here, each time I progress and am called to a higher calling, I always wonder what my resposibilities would be if I were actually called to serve in the LDS church. Shades, could you humor me and maybe pin a thread that would tell nevermo's like myself who only have a small portion of the light of Christ just what my Shady Acres Ward calling entails? I forgot to conduct worthiness interviews while I was a Bishop, so you all get a freebie TR. ; )

Non-Mo LDS callings are crappy. Stuff like ward activities committee and cub scouts. I was told of two Baptists who were installed as nursery leaders.

Oh boy, that's a pretty tall order! It sounds like it could be fun, but it could take a while.

Maybe someday, but I'd need to work up the motivation, I'm afraid.

Please let me clarify- Description of my calling if I were actually LDS. Like what the heck does a stake high council person do? The first thing I think as a non-LDS person is that a stake high council may consist of hanging out in a group grilling filet mignon while under the influence.

Note to Shades: No spelling lesson needed here. I know the difference between stake and steak.

Lots of meetings. Give talks in church.
