Let it not be said, however, that Mormonism creates its own problems, and people who don't believe in it are just commenting on that.

Because believing Mormons are allowed to talk about Mormonism, but non-believing Mormons or never-Mormons are not allowed to talk about Mormonism.

I don't know about God, but you did most definitely have ambitions of one day becoming the Prophet, Seer, and Revelator of the LDS Church:

Everyone knows I am a fairly orthodox LDS in doctrine, but somewhat liberal culturally. Someone said to me recently that is fairly liberal all over that if I ever were in a leadership position, expecially the Prophet, they would bolt.

So I ask all of you, expecially the more liberal crowd; but I still would like as many responses as you folks will give... If the church announced that I was to be the next Prophet-President, would you leave the Church? Expecially knowing how I think?

People have aspirations. I've personally thought that I would love to take on the challenge of the US Presidency. I also, would at least love to take on a congressional or senate roll before I die. To some people, wanting to be president can be considered egotistical and the fuelings of a meglomaniac. However, generally I think people just kinda strug.

Positions in the LDS Faith, however, seem to have a different sense. It seems there should not be a desire to lead, rather a simple desire to take whatever callings you are given. What if, however, one does have a strong desire to be a GA, or even eventually a part of the First Presidency? How about thinking that one would not mind even leading the entire flock as Prophet? Is this over the top? Is this extreme or egotistical?

You missed your calling, Scratch. You should have been a spin doctor. I had honest questions, but I do not aspire to be anything that your implying I am. Unlike you, I like to learn what people think. You just like to hurt people or insult them.

Perhaps a mature adult would see that, but I expect nothing less than your normal character assassinations. You wallow in filth, and I never expected the years to help you back out of that filth.

Have you, "Scratch", ever considered mature discussion or debate? Or is mudslinging your only game?
