Mormon Jesus is a Jesus of Class or

Post by _The Mighty Builder »

Let the Poor Eat Sandwiches NAKED!

In my many years in dealing with the Mormon Church and the construction of Temples throughout the World it has become very clear that Mormon Jesus is bigoted against the Poor.

Among the sacrifices that the Poor Mormons are expected to make is they don’t get a complete real Temple. If you do a search of the Temples at http://www.lds.org/temples/geographical ... -1,00.html you will note a common theme when you look at the Temples located in poor countries and/or low membership countries. Upon clicking on the Guidelines for Attendance tag you will see that most if not all the Temples located in these poor areas have no cafeteria and/or clothes rental available.

Shouldn’t these be the Temples that have these amenities? After all, you have gone to great sacrifice, effort and personal suffering to enable yourself to become worth to go to the Temples and now you have to pay more to attend?

The reason for the lack of these features can’t be the expense of including or operating a cafeteria or renting the clothes, after all this is done at reimbursement to the Mormon Church. It can’t be because there is not a need, after all when your total yearly income is three goats and a pig and you would think the cost of Temple clothing must be staggering. It can’t be that the Poor people patrons don’t get hungry since the session time is the same for all Temples. It can’t be because the Poop people members are too proud to accept the connivance of not have to transport an item they can only afford to used once a year for a weekend.

No, the only reason I can think of that Mormon Jesus would not want to have equal Temples is that He has no intention of ever visiting a Poor people Temple. Not going to be snacking in the cafeteria with a GA so why go.

How are they supposed to eat in a cafeteria anyway when they had to donate the fillings from their teeth for the temple to be built?

Omissions of Temple clothing in these cases, might not be some willful disregard of the need, but rather a need that decision makers where simply unfamiliar with.

Welcome, builder. Would you care to expound on your experiences in dealing with the church and constructing temples?
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

Actually, the Church is more concerned with spiritual condition than class. And since the poor tend to be more humble and spiritual, it could be argued that the Church promotes them above all others by making temples available.

Now if we saw the FP and Qo12 spending all their days on the beaches of Bermuda and sleeping on top of huge piles of money with many beautiful women you might have a point. Fortunately, you don't.

I live in the USA. In a relatively prosperous area. We have one of the mini temples. And members were quite happy to have it as it saved a lot of drive time and allowed more frequent attendance for those who enjoy temple worship.

I found this interesting:

They gave the gold from their dental work to help pay for the temple. [President Faust] said that he had purchased some of the gold fillings for more than the market price to share with congregations the nature of the sacrifice made by these members (Church News, 9 May 1998).

Maybe wealthy Mormons with health problems can start buying black market organs donated by poor members desiring the ordinances of the temple. What is a lung or a kidney next to the salvation brought by sacrifice for the work? What righteous but ailing GA would not pay above market value for these organs to facilitate this goal and "share in the sacrifice"?

Sorry, but I found the whole thing a little creepy.

The Lord is a savvy investor. The price of gold in 1998 was under $300/ounce. It is over $1200/ounce today. The Lord works in mysterious ways, and by encouraging the members to give their gold fillings to the church, the church actually made more money in the long run than if those members had donated cash. If this is not proof that the Lord is guiding the brethren in their financial planning, I don't know what is.
