Hate to be rude, but...... Version 8.0

Not sure why ttribe, Presbyter and Paul Osborn have decided to leave this board, but I have decided that it would be a good idea for me to take a leave of absence from this board. I have shared a few PM’s with ttribe and Paul and welcomed their various opinions about things.

While some may leave because they found nothing of value to them here, when compared to the many other boards I have been involved with, this gives me exactly what I came here for. I joined this board because I wanted to know why many people are so polarized in their LDS and anti-LDS beliefs. I wanted to get more perspective as I have to deal with very polarized LDS and anti-LDS people every day.

Even the most stubborn critic and faith-defender was free to express their opinions as strongly as they wished and I continue to appreciate the free exercise of speech we have here. Thanks for helping me to learn to better empathize with the people who I disagree with, while I also learn that I myself might have it all wrong myself.

Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays to you all, and I will make sure the door does not hit me on my way out.
