I don't know if they will or not. If they obey their own rules without reading the message, they won't let you back in. If they do take the time to read it (we can hope), who knows, they might have second thoughts, but I wouldn't bet on it. I wish I could help, but I can't zeez, sorry =/.

SP: they were very upset at my BY question. I've learned that is a subject better pondered internally. I also found improper use of Joe's name to be VERY problematic over there. I know how to be nice now.

Follow your heart. I've found a way to believe and I've read it all. And I can honestly say now that I'm more at peace than when I didn't know or experience any of the ugly truth.

The request alone is an outright questioning of their authority, because you'd have to ignore their rather apathetic direction to not contact them. . . "they don't care, they will ignore you". Years ago, there was an NPR story about a polygamist sect where they interviewed several of the members and it was mentioned that this kind of thing did go on in their community. For the life of my, I can't find that podcast anymore and it bugs me to no end...

It is kind of unfortunate that you lost your focus on MAD and became a somewhat contrarian in your posts. You started out okay but this site poisoned your mentality and it showed in your posts. And so, you were banned. You may have a chance but your posts here don't help much in your reinstatement.

Would love to hear about it. For some reason it is so entertaining to think about prudish Victorian era pioneers taking part in something like this. Maybe there is something godly about that kind of thing after all... well, man-godly - not woman-godly. I honestly can't see how women would enjoy that. When I think about me and some other dude going at it with my wife I get the scary chills. Those kind of chills you get as a child when you think about a wheelchair coming down the stairs on top of you or maybe something scary spelled backwards on the glass... shutter.

Nauvoo polygamy with Joseph Smith started in 1841 and ended in 1843. He married many women in that short time. I think that there was a reason for this and I don't think that it was because he was a horny guy trying his luck with many women. But it does seem that he was in a hurry to practice polygamy and there must have been a reason for this. Was it pressure from above or...his sexual drive? With all his troubles and problems I don't think that these problems would be lessened with polygamy.

And he does seem to have genuinely loved his wife emma.
