I haven't posted much ad the MDD board. It has never suited me all that well. No big deal. I just move on. But I do recognize some comments here as similar to complaints I've had in other boards I've frequented over the years. I've been to many evangelical boards which are highly biased in their moderating. I've never been banned, because I follow the rules, but I've been dinged a number of times for following the board rules. Thus, I feel like I can empathize a bit. As it is, I say just leave it alone. I've done that on a number of occassions as this arises. Its telling that people don't seem to drop it around here. Its brought up so frequently here, I'd say there are some pretty bitter feelings over it. Its not worth the feelings. Let them go--not speaking to anyone in particular.

Pahoran a moderator? Isn't that an oxymoron? Next thing someone will say is USU is a moderator.
I almost never post there anymore. Any comment from the average Joe that begins to question the status quo is met with derision and insults. I was called a bigot by Bill Hamblin (we have no history either) for saying that women have not won many Nobel Peace prizes because we live in a male dominated society. The board has gotten worse since the 'changes'.
"Any over-ritualized religion since the dawn of time can make its priests say yes, we know, it is rotten, and hard luck, but just do as we say, keep at the ritual, stick it out, give us your money and you'll end up with the angels in heaven for evermore."
On a brighter note, I have recently adopted the handle of Pahoran's_Gay_Lover as my new name. We'll see how long that handle lasts before it is also deleted.
