Did you walk and walk and walk and walk?
Being a Christian is not the result of an ethical choice or a lofty idea, but the encounter with an event, a person, which gives life a new horizon and a decisive direction -Pope Benedict XVI

I prefer thinking about being a cowboy gathered around the campfire after a hard day of riding herd. You need the right kind of enamel coffee pot though, for this fantasy and you have to boil the grounds and water together. I suspect some beans and chaw or a roll-your-own are probably necessary too. Oh and a good camp blanket...

Don't forget the fiddle player.

zeezrom wrote:Thanks everyone! I bought a cheap one at WalMart and then some beans that I ground at the store. I'm trying my first cup at this very moment. Sorry Quas, I already put sugar in it before I saw your post. I'll try without next time.
my wife seemed a little distressed that I bought this because of the sinful nature of it all. :)
I guess this is one of those things that is just, well, very UN-Mormon.
You're forgiven! :) Think of it as your first bike ride with training wheels. It's good for a start, but more fun without them.
I hope your next adventure does not involve tobacco! Not everything in the WoW is wrong. :)

This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

How about a splash of Kahlua?

It does feel like blazing new trails after a lifetime of having coffee, tea, alcohol, tobacco and black tar heroin being prohibited and demonized as "bad" or "sinful".
Weird that drinking a simple cup of joe' could be so liberating and freeing.
I brewed some for my wife and she tried it. So far, I'm the only fan of the bean in the family. The kids report they like the smell. My heathen 8-yr old told me it doesn't have much taste, shrugged his shoulders and walked away.
I guess this will remain a fantasy thing for me as I drink it alone...
