Show me yours and I’ll show you mine. I’m very curious to see how wide a range of responses this thread will generate.

When you can actually get it, I'd say an M-16. But that's a gun to be used on people. As the world's population exponentially rises, I predict advances in this type of weaponry for the simple reason that there will be war and an imperative need to protect ones land and resources or perish.
For deer and hogs, I like a 220 swift. But as good as wild pigs taste, they can be hard to knock down at times so I'm open to suggestions.

And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

.338 Lapua magnum, SAKO TRG-42. Very accurate with excellent knockdown power. Coupled with an excellent scope there is little that can't be taken with this package. It is he only big game rifle I shoot these days.
For fun, Evanix Blizzard in .22 cal with thumbhole stock. One fine air rifle for small vermin within 90 yards. Accurate enought to clip dandelion heads off the plant by shooting off the stalk at 40 yards. Quiet, inexpensive and enjoyable as an exercise in accuracy.
In .177 the American made Benjamin Marauder. Another pneumatic compressed air powered rifle that shoots groups under 1/2 inch at 60 yards. Death to blackbirds and gophers. (the gophers riddle the nearby cemetaries and topple tombstones as a result) So quiet you can't hear it fire from 15 feet away.
The other 'close in' fun rifle is a HW 90 in .22 cal. A gas piston pellet rifle that is a nice hunter for rabbits, squirrils and pests. An excellent loaner and trainer for those just learning to shoot.
All the rifles are scoped to aid in accuracy. With low powered pellet rifles(compared to something as small as a .22 long rifle cartridge) it is all about shot placement. Fine pellet rifles can take a coyote within 70 yards when hit right. If I am not sure about the shot, I don't shoot. Wounding an animal is not a good thing.
Yes, we eat the game animals and eliminate the pests that prey on the garden and neighbors crops. We are in farm country and pest elimination helps out.

You can't go wrong with German engineering.

Were you looking for what we might like to have, or what we actually own? I limited mine to what I own and shoot.
