To the folks who travel alone

Post by _zeezrom »

Over on Rich Kelsey's thread, we see a letter from a guy who found he no longer believes in the church but stays involved to support and protect his family relationships. In this letter, he said,
"This journey was so disruptive and internally tumultuous that I chose to travel it alone."

I know there are a multitude of people out there living a similar life. It is really sad for me to think about. MsJack, I know you recently tried to make this board a happier place and I'm poo pooing all over your efforts. Sorry about that. :)

I just wanted to take a moment and let you know my heart goes out to you, whoever you are. Peace.

Zee.

Thanks Zee. I appreciate that. :)

Sorry, man. Maybe we who are burdened with inconvenient knowledge should develop secret oops sacred signs to spot each other at church. Then we won't be so alone.

I have already developed one that's perhaps a little more subtle. I call it "not attending church and resigning". It's kinda complicated to describe in detail. In retrospect, it should come with a manual or something.
