Why didn't she-angels visit LDS prophets?
Given that God wants women to have the priesthood and all, why didn't any resurrected woman visit the earth to pass her priesthood on?
Is it because God knew these crusty prophets (i.e. Joseph and Oliver) would not respect the female authorities? Was it because these guys simply weren't ready?
Does this mean a woman angel might come to earth to pass the female brand of priesthood on to some LDS woman?

Oh for shame, how the mortals put the blame on us gods, for they say evils come from us, but it is they, rather, who by their own recklessness win sorrow beyond what is given... Zeus (1178 BC)

I think Joseph Smith banged all the she-angels that visited him.

Thus the origins of the story about the flaming sword.

I wonder if Smith contracted syphilis through one of his plural wives? That might explain his increasingly erratic behavior later in life.

Do we automatically start thinking of sexual jokes when we hear about he-angels visiting women?
Would men be too distracted by attraction if visited by a she-angel?
In other words, is the human race too immature to handle powerful women?

I think the sexual jokes are more connected to Joseph Smith than to she-angles.

We don't have a verified revelation stating that any angel visiting Joseph regarding the higher priesthood. Perhaps that is why?
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

I wonder if maybe Joseph Smith was too immature and reckless to handle a she-angel?

Although I agree that it is a possibility.
