Darrick: "What is the official Church position regarding the Curse of Cain doctrine?"

Office of the First Presidency: "Ask your bishop"

Darrick: "I did, he told me not to worry about it."

OFP: "Then THAT is the official position of the Church"

Darrick: "Did the Church EVER teach that blacks are the cursed and inferior children of Cain?"

Public Affairs: "Never! Never happened! Never a doctrine of the Church. Sure, some Members may have believe it, but it was never doctrine, never approved by Church leaders."

Darrick: "But I have quotes from Church leaders who preached the Curse of Cain Doctrine."

OFP: "Those were never official pronouncements."

PA: "Never happened! You are reading materials that do not accurately portray what Church leaders said."

Darrick: "But these publications are Church publications, and they quoted Church leaders speaking in General Conference."

OFP: "Ask your bishop"

PA: "Look, again, these things are you quoting from, I haven't seen them, but I can assure you they were NOT Church publications! The Chruch never taught this so-called Curse of Cain Doctrine. It was never taught by Church leaders."

Darrick: "But I have 100% PROOF it WAS taught by Church leaders, in General Conference, for at least 130 years!"

OFP: "Who is your bishop? We want to contact him!!!"

Darrick: "My bishop is Bishop So-and-So or So-and-So Ward."

Bishop So-and-So: "Darrick, I got a call from the OFP. They are very upset. You are ASKING QUESTIONS! You're not supposed to DO that! They want you to STOP now, or else!"

Darrick: "But, I'm trying to find out what the Church's official position on the Curse of Cain is?"

Bishop So-and-So: "Look Darrick, one more time...DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT! Stop asking questions. Shut up. Don't think. Just OBEY!"

Darrick: "Ok, I won't ask OFP again!"

Darrick: "Now, Public Affairs, can YOU tell me if the Curse of Cain was official or not, true or not, doctrine or not? Personal opinion or not?"

PA: "Look, one more time. No! The Church NEVER taught it. Church leaders NEVER taught it, period. Now, can I help you with any other questions?"

Darrick: "No thanks, I think you too have LIED to me ENOUGH for one day!!!"
