ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL???
About to lock down my man-cave and prepare for three days of college football.
See you next week, if I make it out alive.
Roll Tide!

Roll Tide!
Go Auburn!
(Said mostly to annoy you, but also because my father-in-law is an Auburn grad and my wife is a native of Alabama, born in Opelika. All her family on her Dad's side still live in Alabama, too.)
As for me ... GO COUGARS! Go kick some SEC butt tomorrow!
I thought myself the wiser to have viewed the evidence left of such a great demise. I followed every step. But the only thing I ever learned before the journey's end was there was nothing there to learn, only something to forget.

If what you say about your family is true, you'd know that the proper response to:
"Roll Tide!"
is
"War Eagle!"

Of course, EVERYTHING I say is a lie, no matter how innocuous.

Re: ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL???
This may shock some folks, but I like Auburn almost as much as I like Alabama. I know that goes against the rules in Alabama, but I don't live in Alabama. I was born near Auburn but grew up a Bear Bryant fan. I can appreciate a good rivalry, but never understood the hatred between the fans. I've known families that were literally destroyed over the Iron Bowl, which I think is dumb.
The Cougars will be the next team to enter the Big 12, after Texas A&M and VTech head to the SEC. Their experiment as an "independent" team will be short lived.

Jersey,
I'm pretty sure Will was referring to the cougars of BYU vs. the Rebels of Ole Miss, which is a rare opportunity the Cougars have to play a team from the elite conference in NCAA football. They picked an easy team to play, and they just might pull out a win.

Yeah the independent thing doesn't work for Notre Dame either.
As to the OP:
After seeing my Cats, Cards, and Bengals struggle through their first games (and preseason) it's going to be a long year.

Kevin,
Let me bold the part of his post that I was responding to so I don't give in to the temptation to say, "WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU KEVIN? CAN'T YOU READ?"
:-)
