It seems that the Silly Fifteen have given up on presenting any new doctrine, revelations, platitudes, ghost stories, urban myths, etc. For my money Packer seems to be the only one of the Silly Fifteen that wants to at least make an effort.
Mormon General Conference = Non prescription Ambien with worse side affects if you're a TBM. Tryptophan without the calories for the rest of the human race.
Besides Packer, are the Silly Fifteen even trying anymore?

But Packer said that god isn't coming any time soon. Spoken like a true atheist.
"We have taken up arms in defense of our liberty, our property, our wives, and our children; we are determined to preserve them, or die."

I bet attending General Conference back in Brigham's day was a lot more exciting:
“I say, rather than that apostates should flourish here, I will unsheathe my bowie knife and conquer or die”
Today I think a comment like that would probably be edited out of the Conference edition of the Ensign.

The point being that he at least made a prediction, revelation, urban myth, ghost story that can be cited in future Conference talks. Better yet if he becomes the Profit of Mormondom.

But Ballard said that when he does, he'll be on a flight to SLC.
