by the way, I am still on for the prediction that women will gain the LDS Priesthood on or before April 1, 2070.

Men and women need each other to be exalted in LDS teaching. And I have even heard it said a man has no excuse if he does not marry. He will not get a second chance but a women will.

I heard the same thing and it bothered me. Being a single member of the church is already difficult enough. Some people struggle to make and keep relationships. Some are socially awkward, others are unattractive. I'm sure a good number of them are lonely and wish they were married. Telling them that God is going to deny them salvation because they couldn't get married is over the top.
