My response to an Evangelical Anti-Mormon

Post by _Daheshist »

Dear _____________,

You wrote to me, asking me if it was "ok" for Walter Martin
and Ed Decker to "lie" about Mormonism...since Mormonism is false, it must be
ok with God for us to lie about it. Well, here is my response to you.

Have you heard of the Orthodox Christian Churches? Greek, Russian, Coptic, Antiochian, etc. They say that Evangelicals are NOT Christians, and will burn in Hell forever. They (the Ortodox Christians) have used the word "Christian" for 2,000 years. Evangelicals have used it for a few hundred years. According to the Orthodox Christian Churches, all Protestants (including Evangelicals) shall burn in Hell forever, screaming for mercy, but receiving none. Are they RIGHT? Let's hope not. Let's hope they are simply ignorant simpletons, like you guys are.

I can dress myself as a Civil War Soldier, and say: "Hey, I'm a civil war soldier". But.....I'm not! I'm a re-enactor. That's all. The "Christians" in the Bible are not you. You are not them. No, you DO NOT believe like they do, but you think you do. You don't. I've read all the writings of the first Christians, the Ante-Nicean Fathers, the Early Church Fathers....tens of millions of words. They did NOT believe in the doctrines of "Evangelical Christianity". Not even close. The name "Christian" does not belong to you. It belongs to the Orthodox Christian Churches. They've used that name for 2,000 years.

Evangelicals are simpletons, like the Fundamentalist Muslims. The Earth is not 6,000 years old. Snakes don't give apples to naked women. The Sun does not revolve around the Earth. All this is foolishness, believed by simple ignorant people. That's all it is.

The lies of Decker and Martin caused many Mormon missionaries to be beaten or spit upon. A few were murdered by good "Christian" people. They lied to make money. They don't believe in Jesus anymore than Hitler did. He lied to get elected Chancellor of Germany, and it worked.

Evangelical "Christians" are very ignorant, narrow-minded, simpletons. Dead from the neck up. Unable to "reason". Easily led. Easily lied to. Easily deceived. In Germany, they put Hitler into power, because he easily deceived them. Yes, Hitler and the Nazis rose to power with the "Evangelical Christian" vote in Germany in 1933!

Although I did not make the following video, it was done by an Ex-Mormon, and I believe it expresses also my feelings exactly. Please take a few minutes to review it.

THAT is what I think of the Evangelical Jesus too. He is my "devil"; an evil, lying, worthless, piece of DOG crap. But that's ok. Your Jesus does not exist. He is a figment in the imagination of ignorant simpletons such as yourself. My "Jesus" lives. He visited me in 2005. And he places nobody in any eternal Hell; other than the one we are in right now. But you're too dumb to see that. So be it. I can't make you "smart". I can't make you have the ability to think logically. Trying to make Evangelicals think logically is like trying to get a dog to do Calculus. It ain't gonna work. I've tried for 30 years to make them think with logic, but they can't. Simple cannot. You can't. Therefore, I shall end our discussion right here. Thank you. Have a good day.

Interesting comments, Daheshist.

The first part of your comparisons is excellent. It’s good analysis clearly articulating historical, doctrinal shifts in Christianity over time and separation of individuals who formed their own organizational divisions of Christianity.

The last paragraph is rather puzzling in that it appears to have been written by someone other than the one who wrote the first part which is that recognition of doctrinal shift that is characteristic of the evolution of religious mythology over time and generations. There are more than a thousand religious groups which regard themselves as Christian. They don’t have agreement, hence the formation/emergence of different groups with different beliefs and practices.

Particularly the line: “My Jesus lives” and what follows is the antithesis of your analysis in the first part. If you intend the last part to be satire, you don’t make that clear. If you do intend that, there should be some clear hint that your own statement is parallel with those others who have the perception that theirs is the authentic Christianity or the authentic “Jesus.”
