George Oliver's Antiquities of Masonry

I have just been listening to the 4 excellent podcasts where John Larsen interviews the brilliant George Miller.

I've been interested in the connections between masonry, passion plays, Mormonism, guilds for a while and have found his knowledge and understanding to be, well, comprehensive and have found the last one in the series 145b to be the most interesting to me.

He refers to a book I had never heard of, which is George Oliver's Antiquities of Freemasonry, available to read online.

George seems pretty convinced that this book is Joseph's source for additions to the Book of Moses, where the narrative differs from Genesis. The parallels also in the Book of Abraham are quite comprehensive.

Have the apologists addressed this particular book at all?

Also, is there any evidence that Joseph scored his 'hit' with Deseret and the Honey Bee from Masonry. I know he didn't formally join Masonry until later, but his Paternal Grandfather and his father were Masons. His father was deeply involved in magic and folk lore. Could it have come through Masonry or some other form of folk lore teachings?
