Drama explain it

OK I really need to understand the need for people to live for DRAMA.

I don't get it, yes it brings on attention, negative attention add on lying and not giving a dame about who it will hurt, even children. What gives?

I live such a busy life I don't have time for Drama but there it is right in my face in my life and I am forced to deal with it, so any ideas incite???
You would think by my age I know how to deal with people like this but I don't live like that. I know that sounds like I'm a snob but I don't and to get sucked into it is madding.
I want quiet, it is like my spirit is screaming. Dose that make sense to anyone?
Its like these people that drag you into such drama are now sitting on the side line eating popcorn.
The drama lovers I am talking about are not the run in the mill Drama queens. These are nut bags in my book, nice one moment then turn into family destroyers the next.
I'm sure these people go away when they have had their fun.
Its the here and now that has my head spinning, do any of you know how to bring them to a full stop?
If I understood I might be able to at lest get through it.
There are times I feel like a real sucker then the trunk of my car pops open and clowns climb out.
I need ideas and incite anyone care to enlighten me.

But to address your point, it might help us if you gave specific information about what it is you're dealing with. Are the people causing drama friends or relatives? About what topics or issues are they causing the drama? And are you in a position to ignore them if necessary?
