Uh........he is a General Authority of our Church, after all, and we do, understanding the role and necessity of his mantal of authority, accept his words, in concert with those of the FP and Twelve, as authoritative, yes.

And then there's your worldview, which is based upon...what, precisely, Themis?

What is Themis' worldview based upon? I suspect thinking, not blind obedience.

You miss the point as usual. You ignore what church leaders say when it does not fit with your worldview as just their opinion, but treat the ones that do as authoritative. The problem arises when you want to attack other for doing what you yourself are guilty of.

Funny thing is a body blow from the church against any national or worldwide political movement is more akin to the bite of a mosquito.

But is bone crushing to those in the Church who consider themselves friends of the Left. They remain unrighteous because of their Leftist beliefs and practices.

You keep repeating that enough bc, maybe it will sink in. But I doubt it.

But when it is something you agree with, then all of a sudden, it's definitive. You don't even try to be consistent.

Odd...I have no recollection of doing any such thing. I realize a CFR is called for here, but also realize after years of participation on this board, how fruitless such a request usually is.

Nothing is going to startle us more when we pass through the veil to the other side than to realize how well we know our Father [in Heaven] and how familiar his face is to us

Oh good, a new MDB meme, this time about me and my support of core Church doctrine. Have fun with it.

as just their opinion, but treat the ones that do as authoritative. The problem arises when you want to attack other for doing what you yourself are guilty of.

Please find for me a core Church teaching, doctrine, or matter of consistent counsel and perspective I do not agree with, or support only intermittently.

I'll be waiting.

Everybody knows it. The public Leftist in the Church is an outcast everywhere I go. Not that anyone else makes them outcast, but that the Leftist is essentially always asking the rest of us to not believe critical doctrines or be disobedient. Even in a ward or stake full of and run by Leftists, they have to grit their teeth and teach the doctrine.

In my home ward the Bishop was a registered Democrat (he was released recently because of cancer). I am about to be made Bishop, and I am also a registered Democrat who supports same-sex marriage. You may be surprised how much your prejudices are wrong.

You are in open (?) rebellion against foundational doctrine regarding the law of chastity, and you wish us to believe that your stake presidency is calling you to as a Bishop with full knowledge of this state of affairs? Is this what you are claiming?

You do not support fundamental aspects of the the Lords laws, boundaries, and conditions regarding human sexuality, and yet you have been approved for calling to the office of Bishop.

I see...

What other doctrines/teachings of the restored gospel do you not accept, or would accept only in modified form, are your SP and his counselors aware of and are overlooking in your calling?

Just interested to know how far you are claiming this is going.
