A definition that applies to peoples in every country throughout the globe, and indeed, throughout the estates of the next life.
I've defined the Left (and conservatism) in detail in this forum and others, in some detail, on a number of occasions, but in this instance, given you want also a definition that transcends mortality, let me define it thus:

These are the spiritual dynamics, as it were, of what we today call "the Left," which is to say that what is termed in traditional parlance the "Left" has another name, which the scriptures would simply term "wickedness," or "worldliness" or "Babylon" or "the great and spacious building."
The Left, in other words, is really just our contemporary term for what, within a gospel framework, would be broadly understood as the "natural man" and his inclinations, attitudes, values, perception of the world, and beliefs regarding the meaning and nature of existence. The Left
is Babylon. The Left is spiritual Rome, Sodom, Corinth etc.
Its various competing schools of thought are bound together at their core by a body of fundamental assumptions and perceptions of the world and of the underlying nature of humankind, and even when they fight like ravening wolves amongst themselves, all of them have, and will combine together against, a common enemy: light, truth, Christ, his gospel, and his people, including any people holding to any substantial portion of true principles, from wherever derived.
