Yes my ears are burning ... nice of her to find that quote for you .... I see things have not changed.
Were those not your words, Rock?
And how about these?

I would also like to note that Stem got beat up big time about posting his in real life information and got no such relief from you or any of the mods as he was being brutally attacked with it and asking for some help/compassion. But whatever, once again your bias is showing.
Not sure what all that has to do with my "bias" (which I made pretty clear in my first post here).
Of course those statements were made before I had fought, in vein against the use of the MDB bashing thread, where she lives and breathes, with a constant spew of hate for this board and the people that post here.
Yes, I hear her fuming and carrying on in that wonderful anti-mdb forum, which you choose to continue and support, about my statements in this thread, noting ad nauseam what a bigoted, hypocritical little person I am along with all of the other bigoted, hypocritical little people on this board.
And what else is a good friend like Liz for, if not to go to that hateful place and share my venom towards rockslider?
I wouldn't touch that with a 10-foot pole. I think Dr. Shades or Keane did the right thing.

Message delivered, yes I feel your hate.
Really, Rock? You honestly think I hate you?
I fasted for you on several occasions when you were going through particularly rough spells with your cancer. I prayed for you on a daily basis for close to a year, as did Jersey Girl. I put your name in the temple and stood in the prayer circle while your name, along with my Dad's, who was also sick at the time, was prayed upon. Yeah, Rock, that sure sounds like pure hate to me.
As far as the topic is concerned, did Jersey Girl threaten a lawsuit against MDB?
You certainly had strong feelings that she most certainly did NOT when all of this drama originally happened.
For those who came late to the party, this is, in a nutshell, what happened with Jersey Girl:
Darrick, a mentally ill man, was a poster here. He had physically threatened several members of this board, and a police report, and an FBI report was involved.
Although Harmony, Scottie, and I, who were all board moderators at the time, begged Shades to ban Darrick after this incident, Shades continued to allow Darrick to post.
While Shades was away and didn't have access to a computer, Darrick threatened a female poster on the board and made attempts to track her IP address to uncover her in real life information.
When Jersey Girl read what was going on, she went through standard MDB protocol by reporting the post and contacting EA, the moderator who was online at the time.
EA refused to act without approval from Shades. Based on EA's decision, no action was taken on Darrick's account for TWELVE HOURS. When Harmony came online, she immediately placed a temporary ban on Darrick's account. Unfortunately, Jersey Girl was unaware that this action had been taken. Since Jersey Girl was under the assumption that no action had been taken by a Mod, and at this point, not only had Darrick threatened the female poster, he had also threatened Jersey Girl as well.
Therefore, Jersey Girl contacted the Web Host and filed an inquiry so that a formal investigation if the site might encourage Shades to make the sensible move, which would be to ban Darrick permanently from the site.
There was no lawsuit. MDB was never even temporarily taken offline as a result of the inquiry.
However, Shades felt betrayed by Jersey Girl, who had also been a personal friend of Shades for quite sometime.
Although Harmony, myself, and Scottie fought against Jersey Girl being banned, EA and Shades wanted it to happen. Since ultimately, the decision was Shades', Jersey Girl was banned.
That is a very misleading presentation of the facts Liz. I like how you forgot about the part where Jersey Girl threatened legal action against the board to bully mod action and then encouraged the webhost to take action against the board, or Harmony's "reasoning" for not banning Jersey Girl centering around explicit personal bias towards her and shamelessly inconsistent application of her own moderating views. How about Scottie's reasoning being based in a mindset he imagined Jersey Girl to have that was later proven dead false by later information? I'm all in favor of the moderator thread on that being made public, but since it isn't, I guess you can write stuff like this.
What Darrick did with respect to the person's identity incidentally was notice that someone with a loose connnection to Mormonism out there on the web had the same initials as their user name and incorrectly assume they were the same person. Making it seem like he was tracking down locations based on IP isn't exactly accurate, nor would a ban be any means to stopping that behavior if he had such technical capability.
Yoda wrote:By all means, EA, please publish the Mod Forum thread. I wanted it published a long time ago. I certainly have no qualms about it being published now.
I clearly can't do that without Shade's permission. And given that it involves things like Harmony openly admitting that she moderates based how valuable she finds posters to be (spoiler alert: her friends turn out to be very valuable), I can see why he wouldn't be keen on doing that.
Now who is being misleading? I read the Inquiry that Jersey Girl sent to the Web Host. Did you? There isn't a lawsuit mentioned anywhere in it.
The only ACTION Jersey Girl encouraged was Darrick to be ousted from the board.
Given that we discussed the contents of said "inquiry," that's a bizarre rhetorical question.
After explicity stating she would initiate a legal fight against the board or its members if her demands weren't met within 15 minutes, which you denied for quite some time even when confronted with direct quotes if you recall, she sent this complaint in 15 minutes:
Reports have been made to the administration team regarding the conduct of a poster whose screen name is "Daheshist". This person's mental state is obviously in question, his communication is threatening and abusive, and last evening (3-24-2012) he issued a statement that contained an apparent threat regarding "blood must be shed".
This person made repeated requests for the identity of the same person. Any searches made on this persons screen name will result in a litany of vulgarities culminating with the statement that "Sometimes blood needs to be shed".
Evidence of additional threatening behavior against yet another poster.
Attempts by myself and other uses of this online message board to report these possible violations to the administration team and appeal for this person to be removed based on threatening conduct have failed.
I do not know if the above constitutes a violation of the General Acceptable Use policy of the contract with DreamHost. I do however, appreciate your time and attention to this matter.
That's clearly her trying to passive-aggressively argue to the webhost that we were in violation of terms of service. This was done after other posters sent similar frivolous complaints that threatened the board and resulted in their banning, of which Jersey Girl was aware at the time.
Her PM's to other posters at that time further back up the idea she was attempting to agitate the webhost to see us in violation of terms, however stupidly. So, no, this wasn't a mere harmless question.
