A Plea to Re-Instate Jersey Girl.

Re: A Plea to Re-Instate Jersey Girl.
I'm glad that you posted the Inquiry, EA.
Yes, she asked about Acceptable Use. Why? Because she wanted Darrick ousted, and if the Moderating Team didn't have the balls to do it, maybe Dream Host would insist on it, and proper action would be taken.
What I made clear to you when we were hashing this out in the Mod Forum is that had Jersey Girl known that Harmony had put the temporary ban on Darrick, she wouldn't have even sent the inquiry to begin with.
Harmony had the balls to do what you refused to do. And of course, even though you knew how upset Jersey Girl was, it never occurred to you to PM her and let her know that action had, in fact, been taken.

Re: A Plea to Re-Instate Jersey Girl.
Look, bringing this whole mess up again is like fingernails on a chalkboard for me.
Ray was simply doing a kind thing by requesting that Jersey Girl be reinstated. I know that he had not foreseen all of this crap being brought up again.
I don't even know if Jersey Girl would want to come back, but I do think that asking her would be a nice gesture in mending fences.
What I don't think is right is for people here to be allowed to take pot shots at her, and lie about her character when she has no means to speak up for herself.
Therefore, I would humbly request that this thread be closed unless an invitation IS extended to Jersey Girl to speak for herself.

Jersey Girl was banned permanently.
End of thread.

I was recently "permanently banned" from this board too. I decided to contact the Board Administrator, as advertised, if I wanted "more information" for the reason/s (no need to go into details). I managed to sort things out with Shades, and he immediately reinstated me. Mind you, as I told Shades, it would have been no skin off my nose if he had decided to keep the permaban, and I would have walked away without any more fuss. I have better things to blog about than a ban from a board, too.
Liz is also correct in that I didn't plan on this dragging on (see the OP too), nor trying to tell Shades what to do with his board. It was a "plea", or suggestion, that's all. If Shades decides not to take it any further, and Jersey Girl isn't allowed to post here again to speak for herself, then I think that should be the end of the matter. There's really no further need for the past gory details to be brought up nor the "good guys and bad guys" stuff. It's a simple decision - either there'll be a reconsideration, or there won't be.
That concludes what I have to say on this thread.

Perhaps, on that basis, it would have been better to have made the plea to Shades in private, rather than start a thread about it.

Considering the maturity of several posters here, unfortunately, you are probably right.

Yes, It's nice to see we are not locking threads at Liz's whim and wish.
