Is there some rehearsal necessary? All dancers around the world do a lot of exercise, I think rain dancers are not exception.
Does the rehearsal start the rain? If it doesn't, the dancers did something wrong.
If it does, then the performance become superfluous.
As a total aside, the USA has a big "plastic shaman" problem. Lots of wannabe medicine men out to sell you CDs of chants and songs, crystals, leatherwork, all imbued with the Great Spirit. Hustlers come from everywhere. Aquarian fraud is rampant just like religious ones. It's all about people who let fantasies become illusions.
