It's embarrassing.
I watch the BBC America channel's news a lot. They do world stories, no fluff. My local networks have terrible news coverage, and I live in NYC which is probably the biggest audience in the country.

It was a criticism of the media for sometimes putting the trite over the important news. Wasn't criticizing conservatives or promoting racial tolerance.

The media reports what people are interested in. I'm not sure the media is to blame.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.
