Yeah, the whole Abrams-tank thing should be a huge embarrassment for the Republican party.

But then again, that money is being used to keep factories open in Ohio, so it's more of a "stimulus" than a "funneling". ;)

It does make me wonder what the political fallout would have been had the plants been closed. Would the people have blamed Portman and the other representatives from Ohio (and ended their political careers)? It would be great to have politicians with that kind of backbone, but it's hardly surprising when they don't.
