This is what I infer from the phrase. It's really about minorities becoming a bigger voice in America, and the white majority shrinking. If we could just kick out a few foreigners (at least, the brownish ones), America could be great again.

I do have some agreement that all of America's problems are due to immigrants, given the fact that Native American families are the only ones that aren't immigrants.

Don Regan was Reagan's chief of staff. Giving him advice on the logistics of speeches is part of his job.

Feel free to point to any other examples in modern history of a Chief of Staff speaking so informally to the President. Even in a private setting you'd expect his first words to be "Mr. President" followed by something like "we're running out of time." But we see him clearly bark an order, "speed it up" while he's standing before Congress. How embarrassing.

I mean why the hell is he even standing beside him during a speech before Congress? You don't see that here or here.

There's no modern president who hasn't received similar direction on speeches.

Again, feel free to produce examples.
That doesn't mean they are puppets of those people.

It does when your policies are designed to enrich those who are "directing" you. Allowing Big Bank CEOs to run the Treasury is something that started under Reagan. They deregulated the hell out of the finance industry which nearly brought the economy down. Again, we can thank Reagan for starting that trend.

Um, not sure how you drew this conclusion except that it was without any sort of history lesson or economic fundamentals

LOL!

Everything about "Reaganomics" has been shown to be nothing more than a gimmick and a farce which people like you were dumb enough to buy into. Worse, years after it has been debunked, you're still thinking it has some validity. You know, the Laugher curve and this business about how tax cuts always results in more jobs and more revenues, both of which proved to be false.

And Reagan supported unions and gave amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants.

Let's make America great again!

Reagan did this reluctantly. We were supposed to get border enforcement after that amnesty. This case proved you can't trust Democrats or establishment Republicans to uphold their end of the bargain.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

You're hopelessly stupid. No matter what, spin everything in a way that blames Democrats.

Reagan gets a pass for doing what you always fear Democrats could do (but haven't), because he did it "reluctantly."

Reagan was a horrible Father (as Nancy was a horrible Mother) and President. He was a liar and a traitor to this country. No wonder Republicans with their "family values" love him so much.
