Also, I don't know if Ted Cruz people own tedcruz.com, but if they do, they seem to have some (somewhat humorous) sour grapes.

The funniest quip I saw after Cruz dropped out was this:

So Carly Fiorina joined the campaign just in time to lay everyone off?

It's time to unite and realize that not showing up to vote for Trump is the same thing as voting for Hillary Clinton.

there could possibly be a single state where that is the case. but even then, that is an absolute BS statement. not voting for trump and not voting for hillary do not translate into votes for the other.

people should not vote for either one if they both suck rocks. which they do.

I keep hearing people say this should be a cakewalk for Hillary, and it should, if she were a "normal" candidate. The problem I'm seeing is that she's alienated a large portion of the Dem base, she sucks at attracting independents, and if people aren't excited about the Dem nominee, they'll stay home.

Repubs, on the other hand, tend to vote more widely out of a sense of party loyalty. They vote more consistently. They may not like Trump now, but they will sign up as soon as the GOP attacks on Hillary really gain steam.

The other thing Trump's got going for him is being the outsider candidate. This is the year of anti-establishment, unpredictable politics. As odd as it may seem, I think he's going to get a surprising number of Bernie supporters to swing his way.

I don't know... I don't think it's at all certain one way or the other.

i agree with all of this. i think trump could knock the crap out of her in ohio and other key states. he may not win california but he could absolutely clobber her in some battlground states where people are sick of being in debt, are not able to pay for college, are sick of funerals for enlisted young adults and generally not coming around on the idea that being a woman means they have to vote for a woman.

You mean him winning 30-40ish% of the 20ish% of Republicans that turn out? Oh yeah, that demonstrates he'll be beloved by all Republican voters in the general.

It's fun to read some of subby's idiotic comments.

Much like Themis you just type and type with little regard for reality. All snark and little substance your posts are.

Republicans always have a higher percentage that will show up to vote than the percentage of Democrats who will vote. Plus for Trump, Cletus and Brandine will camp out overnight at the Little Rock voting booth, if necessary.

That's his polling numbers in a single poll. You cherry-picked a high-water mark, but of note that's neither how much he actually won, nor his internal favorability. It's also not that high, but that doesn't tell you a lot. People could like Trump, but like another option even more. It just turns out there are a lot of Republicans who really don't like Trump. Of note, this poll doesn't talk about election outcomes or turnout, which allegedly was supposed to make your point.

So to prove Trump doesn't have to worry about splitters you cite a single poll showing him with less than half of support among registered Republicans? Good job.

I was referring to primary turn out subgenius referenced to make his point. Those are real numbers. He appears to be jumping off that ship. He's almost certainly trolling, but I thought I would point out the nonsense.
