My 'cancer to conservatism', right or wrong!

Post by _MeDotOrg »

Rick Perry, who earlier called Donald Trump a "cancer to conservatism" and "a toxic mix of demagoguery and nonsense”, announced he will be supporting Donald Trump in the fall.

It's no longer 'my country, right or wrong'. It's 'my party, right or wrong'.
"The great problem of any civilization is how to rejuvenate itself without rebarbarization."
- Will Durant
"We've kept more promises than we've even made"
- Donald Trump
"Of what meaning is the world without mind? The question cannot exist."
- Edwin Land

Donald won me over when he got serious about enforcing the border and protecting American jobs. Unless he does a 180 on that, I'll be loyal to Trump from this day forward.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

Because I care about enforcing the border and protecting American jobs for the American people? If that's fascism, than I'll proudly wear that label.

No, it's because you profess loyalty to a politician. Like a good little follower.

I have yet in my years on this planet encountered a politician I'd proclaim myself 'loyal' to. They're people, with ideas. Some of the ideas I agree with, some I don't.

But you just keep goose stepping along. Jawohl, Mein Fuhrer.

I was pointing out my loyalty to the Republican party. As I've said before, I held my nose and voted for John McCain in 2008. We didn't demand a third party or say we couldn't support him because he wasn't our preferred candidate. When the general election came, we chose the lesser of two evils.

Ajax is basically a Robert Byrd Democrat.

Case in point:

and

http://www.ontheissues.org/Internationa ... _Trade.htm

I don't have a single link for it, but he was also famous for sneaking in protectionist amendments into bills.
