As Feltman noted at the Washington Post: “Without a formal, peer-reviewed study of the stars-and-cities hypothesis (and even with one), it’s a bit reckless to run with the conclusion that it has been proven.”

He forgot to add, "It can not possibly be proven unless a grant had been procured and an official University team headed by two professors and a slew of volunteer grad students have thoroughly scoured the area and have received official notification that their finding on the subject will be published in a journal. That is the procedure by which things can be known".

I once considered Archaeology as a career until I discovered that there was more money to be made selling shoes. I don't begrudge those poor academics any few pennies that they can make. There are few paths in life that require relinquishing all worldly goods. One is being a Buddhist monk, another is being an Archaeologist.
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

The third is being a regular (preferably in the Eastern Bloc).

- To assert that the earth revolves around the sun is as erroneous as to claim that Jesus was not born of a virgin. - Cardinal Bellarmine at the trial of Galilei
