Just for the record here, there was a similar concern on this board when FAIR turned into MAD.

How far would this new and improved Mormon President DB go with that?

Would he allow legally gay couples full membership? Even being sealed in the temple??

Would he allow women to be priesthood holders?

Would he call women to be bishops, stake presidents, and even Apostles???

Would he allow unwed fornicating couples to have full membership?

Would he allow members to give talk on how they oppose certain portions of the theology?

The list is as long as the day.

Based on my interactions with Bill, I suspect he'd say "yes" to all of those questions.

I cannot speak to specifics as to what Bill would and would not change. Ask him. But I suspect that many of the items on your list would be fine by him. I just know from my interactions with him and from what I have read and heard about/by him, I would be comfortable attending church where people who acted like him were in charge.

No. It was independent of such and so happens to be similar. I registered here Tue Dec 01, 2015 several years after starting the podcast. To be honest I didn't know about this board for a while.

have you ever been institutionalized? I can't imagine finding someone as aggressive as you out in the dark dreary world and getting along

gays sealed.... hmmm. i am open to it. Would love to have the conversation with God if I was in charge and see what his reasons are for not doing so.

I would certainly seek ways to be more gender equal.... not sure what that would mean.
