His career has been a waste of tithing and filled with lies, corruption, ruined relationships and burned bridges.
Thanks to DCP, Young Smoot has chosen a path that will guarantee a life of poverty and irrelevance.
I guess if there is a silver lining to any of this, it's that DCP hasn't yet destroyed Smoot's marriage like he did with Bill Hamblin.
Please explain exactly how Dan is responsible for the destruction of Bill Hamblin's marriage.

I just reread that thread. And I stand by what I wrote there. What I see are choices that Bill made. That still doesn't show me how DAN was responsible for the end of Bill's marriage. Bill was responsible for the end of his marriage. No one else.
I got a divorce last year. I don't blame anyone else for the divorce but myself and my ex. There were choices that we both made that determined the end to the marriage.
Your accusation of Dan being responsible for the end of Bill's marriage is completely false, and frankly, the thread which you refer to only solidifies my point.

“When we are confronted with evidence that challenges our deeply held beliefs we are more likely to reframe the evidence than we are to alter our beliefs. We simply invent new reasons, new justifications, new explanations. Sometimes we ignore the evidence altogether.” (Mathew Syed 'Black Box Thinking')
I think that this discussion about Dr Peterson belongs in a lower forum in a different thread.

You are right.
Will delete my contributions and re-post them on an appropriately titled new thread in a lower forum if, and when, started by IHAQ or Everybody Wang Chung.

I am sorry for playing board nanny, but the discussion about Smoot and what he might do with an Egyptology degree is very interesting and I didn't want to see it go in another direction.
