Conway, Fox & Friends launch Home Shopping Network

Post by _MeDotOrg »

Deprived of Nordstrom as a retail outlet, The Trump administration rallied to his daughter's defense, sending Kellyanne Conway on Fox & Friends to promote Ivanka's clothing line.

Watch the reactions of the hosts on Fox & Friends. Planet of the clueless.

It's about as clear a violation of ethics as you can have.

This is KellyAnne Conwoman's third major gaffe since the inauguration. She's an embarrassment. How can she look herself in the mirror every day?

I can't stand watching her any more. I have a hard time looking at someone's face when I know all that's coming out of it is BS.

She is also a woman
And the 1st woman to run a successful presidential campaign
But hey, superficial and shallow measures obviously matter more.

(Ask yourself, if she has accomplished all the she has accomplished to date...was it just dumb luck? Sleep her way to the top? Or
Or
Or
Or
Does she kinda know what she's doing...what she's still doing?

Are you saying that her law education doesn't count for anything?

She had to know she was violating the ethics rule when she was promoting Ivanka's clothing on Fox news. She feigned ignorance later in the day when called on the carpet. As an attorney she of all people would know that ignorance is no defense in the law.

She's guilty as charged! Although it isn't a severe enough reproach to demand she be fired or resign. In time she probably will if she keeps embarrassing herself - the last gaffe was the Bowling Green Massacre that never took place.

Kelly Ann also made known she owns stock in Ivanka's clothing line.

It isn't only a gaffe, violation of ethics rules, is a HUGE conflict of interest promoting sales using her position of influence.

Chuck Schumer on CNN this morning said it was "nothing," and the media is making a mountain out of a molehill.

Compared to other governments around the world where presidents run ramshod over their constituents, some are saying the US is no different from them as to how Trump is using his office for influence.

But this isn't "other" countries. That Trump is immune from the "conflict of interest" rules of other branches and positions in goverment, should not exempt him from conducting his office as president in nothing less than the position would demand from him.

He's using it for personal gain in my opinion, nothing more, nothing less. NOT protecting the safety and security of America, which is what gives me cause for grave concern. The safety and security of our nation should be his highest priority, not all this petty bickering and quarreling going on between him and everyone who isn't in his inner circle while promoting his personal businesses at home and abroad. It's going to be more "pay to play," Trump America style.

Of course she knows what she's seeking to accomplish, and seems to have a pretty good idea of how to achieve it targeting the demographic that made them successful winning the election.

That doesn't mean she knows what she's doing as a representative of the President of the United States, or how to act within the bounds of the law and ethical norms. It's not like the culture surrounding her boss is demonstrating a high regard for either.

The next time I go to our nearest Lord and Taylor in my area, I'll check to see if it's still carrying the Ivanka line. It was there just a couple of weeks ago.

This is a conservative mostly community, especially who would shop at the local L&T (upscale department store, yada yada.)

If Ivanka's line is missing from there, I know it will be from a boycott. Because otherwise, it blended right in with the other women's designer clothing and upscale customers it caters to.

Her taste supposedly appeals to young Millenials. And Kelly Anne.
