Trump takes 12th golf trip in 9 weeks
“I would rarely leave the White House because there’s so much work to be done,” Trump told a reporter in 2015. “I would not be a president who took vacations. I would not be a president that takes time off… You don’t have time to take time off.”

Aaaaand here he was criticizing President Obama for taking golf trips:

What's odd is we all know he's a giant girthy sack of crap, but, you know... “F” it.

I'm thinking that Donald of Orange really didn't think he would win. Now, he has to put up with the inconvenience of being a president. I suppose that the more time he spends on the golf course, the less time he has to spend screwing up the country.
Thank God for small (very small) favors.

He's up to 15 in 11 weeks. Sean Hannity had this to say about Obama, golf, and Syria:

Hannity actually responds to this... amazing how stupid he is to think anyone would buy this.

Check out the tweet responses to Hannity's remark, they're pretty friggin hilarious.

Don't forget that Trump's golf outings also function to line his pockets. That this level of corruption has become no big deal because of GOP complicity is both disheartening and entirely predictable.

Yeah, have you guys read up on Mar-a-Lago? It was intended to be the Winter Whitehouse long before Trump got his hands on it in a private transaction.
Here's the wiki entry intro:
And then, later in the entry:

Here's the wiki entry intro:
Mar-a-Lago (English pronunciation: /mɑɹ.ə.lɑ.goʊ/) is an estate and National Historic Landmark in Palm Beach, Florida, built from 1924 to 1927 by heiress and socialite Marjorie Merriweather Post. Post envisioned the house as a future winter retreat for American presidents and foreign dignitaries, and following her death in 1973, it was bequeathed to the nation. However, successive presidents declined to use the mansion and it was returned to Post's estate in 1980. In 1985, Mar-a-Lago was purchased by businessman Donald Trump, who later became the 45th President of the United States.
And then, later in the entry:
Marjorie Merriweather Post built the house with her then-husband Edward F. Hutton. Post hired Marion Sims Wyeth to design it, and Joseph Urban to create interior design and exterior decorations.[10][11] Upon her death in 1973, Post willed the 17-acre (69,000 m2) estate to the United States government as a Winter White House for presidents and visiting foreign dignitaries.[12] Richard Nixon preferred the Florida White House in Key Biscayne, however, and Jimmy Carter was not interested. The federal government soon realized the immense cost of maintenance, annual taxes roughly between $1–3 million, and the difficulty of maintaining security for diplomats.[13] The government returned it to the Post Foundation in 1981, which listed it for sale for $20 million. Dina Merrill and Post's two other daughters did not maintain the property, expecting to sell it,[14] but there was so little interest that the city approved its demolition to build smaller homes.[15] Mar-a-Lago was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1980.[3][16][17]

Omg, look what's in the wiki on Mar-a-Lago.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mar-a-Lago
After Trump was elected President in 2016, and after learning former President Obama had the White House and Trump Tower wiretapped, he began to use Mar-a-Lago as his base of operations instead.[21]

Nope. But you are a bit embarrassing when you say things like that. Question of history, you see. It might take a while to explain it to you ... Just stop, OK? I'm asking nicely, because I like you.
Maybe tell some jokes about Hungarians instead? Has there ever been a Hungarian (or a Romanian) like Trump?

Re: Trump takes 12th golf trip in 9 weeks
I personally don't mind if presidents take a lot of vacations. It's a very stressful job and we want presidents to be in good mental shape to make major decisions. Also, many presidential "vacations" actually involve a fair amount of work. They should take the amount of leisure time necessary to be in good form.
Since at least president Clinton, Democrats and Republicans have been flipping scripts on attacking the sitting president for going on vacation and I find it silly.
That said, Trump does seem to be in a different category of vacation taking and he may be hitting my threshold for when it looks excessive. What I really dislike, though, is that his "vacations" are kleptocratic money-making schemes for him.
