The only thing these guys will try to improve in this bill is the public optics. I guarantee it.

Yep. Traitor McConnell has no intention of having anything President Obama did remain.

So what you're saying is that a committee of 13 male GOP senators, no women, no Dems, are going to take a couple of months to draft a new plan for health care and no one else is going to have input, opportunity to discuss it or vote on it?

Where is there a list of House Republicans who voted for all of this to begin with? Anyone know?

ETA: Never mind. I found the list for my state.

Other's will have input. They have to get to 50 votes (for a reconciliation bill) to get Pence to break a tie, so it'll be a lot of GOP input, but yeah, I'm sure he'll be looking for all kinds of right-wing ideas to sell this lemon to Americans.

In the spirit of Jersey Girl's optimism about the Senate's rewriting of the health care bill, I've just written both my state senators to encourage them to consider everyone, not just rich people, when they formulate this bill. I even admitted the House version of the bill might help me, but that I didn't like it anyway, because there's more to America than my own specific needs. I guess I'll see what it gets me.

At the very least, I got to vent to them a little.

Schmo, did you email it or send it ground mail? I have a draft in my email for Chris Christie about the commission on opioids that I now need to revise and I know I can email it to his office in Jersey. I just want to know how you're sending your communication so I can follow your lead. I'm going to write my ever loving butt off on this health care bill.

I just went to their respective websites and emailed them through each site. They both had that feature on their sites, as did my congressman's.

Okay, that's what I imagined you were doing. I'll do the same.

I signaled out Arizona Congresswoman Martha McSally for two main reasons.
Here are these two main reasons:

1. Hillary Clinton won in her Congressional District by 4.9%.

2. GOP Governor Jan Brewer ended up expanding AHCCCS/Medicaid in her state. McSally's vote to cut Medicaid would likely result in thousands of Arizonans losing their Healthcare in her state.
