Let me see if I can find an image of a typical self portrait of a 4 year old child. Drawing development is one of the things we observe and document over time as indications of a child's cognitive development (also physical development, but that's not relevant to this topic).

Yes, I found it hilarious that a self admitted "biologically white" woman tried to pass as a black female head of the NAACP, who you possibly see as suffering from mental illness.

I see humor in the human race and look for opportunities to laugh loudly on a daily basis.

How do you know she's biologically white? Because she says so? Has she been DNA tested?

I don't particularly see her as suffering from mental illness, though I don't rule it out. I'm open to more explanations as my above post indicated.

When I wrote about mental illness, I was thinking about the build up of anxiety leading to chemical imbalance in those who are mocked, derided, marginalized, discriminated against and possibly, acts of violence perpetrated on.

And suicide as a possible outcome.

I'll bet there are other interesting things to look for in children's drawings (emotional, psychological, maybe even evidence of abuse).
