I doubt any transfer or IP rights took place since it appears the church leaders were not aware this was going to take place (the meeting was approved by the SP and not higher up). Thanks again for the information.
If one is familiar with "Council of Fifty" minutes they suggest that the Prophet lS the Constitution. Read through: Joseph Smith papers:Council of Fifty p. 90-110, and see if I am understanding it correctly. In the state of Utah this has been a governing principle, at least at certain times.
