Question: Why does the Church maintain financial reserves when there are so many unmet humanitarian needs currently in the world?

Answer: The Church has spent billions of dollars over the past few years to meet welfare and humanitarian needs around the world.

SPENT? As in dollars given or spent, not equivalent dollars in man-hours of volunteering?

FEW YEARS?? I've grown up hearing the definition of few as 3-5. Is LDS Inc using the term few to say 30-50 years?

IMHO, Their above answer is very misleading.
