Peterson believes that Joseph Smith used a peep-stone in a hat to "translate" ghost plates into a narrative that has absolutely no basis in real history? A 19th century fraud? And he's calling others idiots?

What's ironic is that there is at least a possibility that Jesus actually said what was attributed to him by Al-Ghazālī... unlike ANYTHING he is claimed to have said in the fictional Book of Mormon.

One step where events converge may alter your perception.

Peterson, continues to show how the Mopologetic version of Jesus has been recreated qne mole3e into something completely unrecognizable in order to fit the Mopologists' needs and to justify their horrible behavior.

While the Christian world all believes Jesus commanded everyone to forgive and not speak evil of one another, Peterson believes the Mopologetic Jesus has commanded him to never forgive or forget any perceived or real slight. Peterson also believes the Mopologetic Jesus has commanded him to continue his very public 7 year revenge-fueled tirade against the Lord's University and numerous others.

Peterson, never one to pass up the opportunity to publicly besmirch, wrote this today:
Peterson, Exhibiting His Trademark Christlike Behavior wrote: I developed a deep and passionate love for BYU and for the idea of BYU. And, for all of the human frailty that I saw during for my first nearly three decades on the faculty, that passionate commitment continued. It was seriously damaged by certain events in 2012 and thereafter, but, considerably sadder and perhaps somewhat wiser, it persists.

Folks, you can't make this stuff up.
"I'm on paid sabbatical from BYU in exchange for my promise to use this time to finish two books."

Isn't this a bit like blaming General Douglas McArthur for still loving the military, even though he was summarily dismissed by President Truman for wanting to engage in a war of attrition shootout with China. While numbers and wisdom were against him, MacArthur had plenty of stubborn determination to engage in combat as he saw fit.

Today's Maxwell Institute lacks the same fighting spirit and dogged determination to hold the Inchon Line even after heavy caliber apologetics melted down from repeated firing. That way they could go out in a blaze of glory, for Church and Brethren. But ohh nooo, they had to be all scholarly without the heart of true doctrine warriors. They could not mount a Grand Inquisition even if they tried with that reverence for propriety and book learning!!! If you are unwilling to crawl through the mud, then how can you engage in trench warfare with Satanic anti-Mormon critics? That is where the elders of the Church-loving Interpreter have it over the overly cautious men and women at the Maxwell Institute.

In the quest for the heart of the Brethren, proven battle-hardened warriors have an edge over stripling scholars burdened with the task of propriety.
